Start with two providers and send the same request
Choose two branches you could realistically travel to. Ask both about the same service and body area. Still deciding between treatments? Read the treatment explanations first, then compare quotes.
Put the replies side by side: compare these five details
- Same service? Check the machine and method. External RF and an RF microneedling package describe different procedures.
- Same quantity? One visit with two applicator cycles contains a different quantity from one visit with four.
- What is the full total? Add compulsory extras and record whether tax is included.
- What happens to the balance? Compare expiry, cancellation fees and refund terms.
- Who assesses you and follows up? Record the person or role and the aftercare contact.
What if they say you will only know when you arrive?
Some personal treatment plans require a consultation first. Ask its price, whether any purchase is required, and whether you can take the quote home. Mark missing details as pending. An incomplete quote gives you too little to call it the cheapest.
Where to check a healthcare provider
For a healthcare service, request the organisation name, address and the doctor’s name if involved. Search HealthHub’s provider directory and the official professional registers and match the details. If a result is missing or different, ask the provider to clarify. A doctor register does not verify every beauty practitioner’s title.
Before choosing, settle the unanswered items
A reachable branch, a clear total and terms you can accept give you a practical basis for comparison. Sales numbers, reviews and a result photo leave those questions unanswered. Discuss suitability and risks in a professional assessment. This page is a selection guide; it currently contains no provider ranking.
Singapore: service categories and advertising claims
MOH explains that non-licensed entities, such as beauty salons and massage parlours, cannot advertise claims to treat or cure diseases or medical conditions. Consumer explanations, provider advertising and personal medical assessment serve different purposes. Read MOH’s explanation.
For a healthcare service, verify the relevant service licence and the professional registration of the people involved. A directory entry alone does not establish permission to offer a particular service, authority to perform a procedure or service quality.
